James Mazac, 60, of Joshua, Texas, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017, surrounded by his wife, children and extended family members. He was born Dec. 29, 1956, in Fort Worth, Texas. Services: 10 a.m. Monday, March 13, 2017, at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Joshua. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Sunday, March 12, at the funeral home. Interment: Godley Cemetery in Godley, Texas. James was an avid bass fisherman and deer hunter who loved to be outdoors. He never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off his back. He was always happy go lucky and the life of the party. Most close friends and some family members called him Crazy James because he had such a wonderful and outgoing personality. He was a wonderful husband, father and worshiped his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry B. Mazac and his granddaughter, Haley Ryan Anglin. Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Janet Mazac; son, J.D. Mazac and wife, Brandy; daughter, Angel Anglin and husband, Michael; four grandchildren, Dillon Mazac and Devin, Ashtin and Emma Anglin; mother and stepfather, Barbara and Charles Crow; two sisters and one brother, Carol Jean and Richard Ward, Brenda Gay and Curtis Smith and Jerry Paul Mazac; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.
