James Eric McMurry, 53 of Crowley, Texas left this world on July 30, 2023. Graveside service will be held at Caddo Cemetery, Joshua, Texas on August 31, 2023, at 10:30 am.
Eric was born October 2, 1969, in Johnson County and a lifelong resident.
Eric was a kind loving man that was easy to smile and easy to talk to. Eric was a caregiver for both his grandmother Alyce McMurry and for his mother Ginny McMurry Smith in their time of need.
Eric was preceded in death by his father and mother Jimmy McMurry of Crowley and Ginny McMurry Smith of Joshua; Sister Cochuan McMurry, Grandfathers and Grandmothers, Lawrence and Alyce McMurry and Guy D and Alma Whitlock; Uncle Wayne McMurry, and Aunts Peggy Owens and Ann Coder.
He is survived by his Aunt's Ann Malone of Joshua and Sondra Watson of Granbury; Uncle Bob Whitlock of Cleburne; and many cousins and friends.
