James Wesley Meek

James Wesley Meek was born in Austin, Texas on April 28, 1933 to John and Roxie Meek. He passed away peacefully Friday morning March 29, 2024 in Fort Worth, Texas.

James grew up in Austin with his parents and two sisters, Mildred and Billie Ruth. He moved to Fort Worth with his parents when he was a teenager and made the Fort Worth area his permanent home.

He was an entrepreneur who owned several businesses throughout his life. He always enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He had a love for motorcycles and the coast. James always lived life to the fullest.

James is survived by his wife Robin Meek, and seven living children Carl Meek, Mickey Meek, George Ann Meek, John Meek, Molly Thomson, Nicholle Caruthers, and Courtney Turner along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son Steven Meek.

James and his priceless smile will forever live in our hearts.
