BURLESON -- James C. "Jimmy" Neathery, 66, a loving husband, father, grandfather and retired wholesale car dealer, died Saturday, April 21, 2007, at his residence in Burleson. Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Burleson. Burial: Caddo Cemetery in Joshua. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. James Clevland Neathery was born Jan. 6, 1941, in Gainesville to Chester Allen and Bonnie Wheeler Neathery. He married Sara Decker on Aug. 16, 1980, in Burleson. Jimmy was a Full Gospel Christian who was dedicated to his faith and family. He enjoyed woodworking and bird watching. He was a great supporter of his family and was the biggest fan of his kids and grandkids. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: Wife, Sara Neathery of Burleson; sons, A.W. Neathery and wife, Lynda of Dixon, Tenn., James Neathery and wife, Jana of Alvarado; daughters, Julee Pinneda and husband, Daniel of Watauga, Beth Cox and husband, Dan of Richland Hills, Stephanie Rosenthal and husband, Adam of Port St. Lucie, Fla., Wendy Like and husband, Larry of Burleson; brother, Dale Neathery and wife, Helga of St. George, Utah; sister, Elizabeth Pickton of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Christopher, Ryan, Mysti, Stormie, Brittanee, Jake, Elisha, Kaley, Dustin; great-grandchildren, Skye and Sarabeth.
