JOSHUA -- James Samuel "Sam" Roberts, 73, a truck driver, died Monday, Aug. 29, 2005, in Clyde. Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday, Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Caddo Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Sam was born Oct. 14, 1931, in Jacksboro, to Claude Edward and Eula Tyson Roberts. Survivors: Wife, Evelyn Roberts of Joshua; sons, Mike Roberts, Billy Roberts, Claude Roberts, Paul Roberts and Jack Stiles; daughters, Nancy Smith, Becky Turner, Tujuana Stiles, Tonjia Reed, Tarina Woods and Patsy Chapman; 37 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
