BURLESON -- James "Jim" Robert Wheeler, 67, a pipe fitter for General Motors died Thursday April 16, 2009 in Arlington. Memorial Service: 3:00 P.M. Sunday April 19, 2009 at First Christian Church 601 S.W. Johnson Ave. Burleson, Tx. Jim was born June 19, 1941 in Lenoir City, TN. to James Houston and Edna Farris Wheeler. He married Betty Ingram on March 6, 1965 in Azle. Jim proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved working at General Motors where he worked 38 years. Jim also loved his family and adored his grandchildren. He loved sports, hunting, fishing and coaching little league which he did for many years for his sons. He was always loyal to his friends. Jim was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: Wife, Betty Wheeler of Burleson; sons, Craig Wheeler of Burleson, Kirk Wheeler and Fiance Laurie Dailey of Burleson, Clint Wheeler and wife Christene of Roanoke; brothers, Carl Wheeler and wife Virginia of Michigan, Roger Wheeler of Kennedale, Wade Wheeler and wife Michelle of Burleson; sisters, Mary Ann Sidell and husband Al of Michigan, Mildred Heinz and husband Fred of Florida; brother in law, Jack Ingram and wife Dora of Azle; sister in law, Jo Ann Spruell of Joshua; grandchildren; Logan, Landon, Chelsie, Caitlyn, Beau Michael Wheeler, Lance Dailey; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, great great nieces and nephews.
