Janie M. Meador, 95, of Burleson, passed away Friday September 21, 2018.
Funeral: 11:30 AM Wednesday, September 26, Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Scott Sharman officiating. Visitation: 6-8 PM Tuesday, at the funeral home. Burial: 2 PM Thursday, New York Community Cemetery, New York, TX, Pastors Olin Boles, and Bryan Adair officiating.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Franklin Meador in 2006. Janie was born September 8, 1923 in Larue, TX to John Henry and Lavada (Bristow) Boles. She was a Homemaker.
Survivors: son, Gary Meador, wife Joyce and grandson Kenneth; daughter, Lanetta Bridschge, husband Donald and granddaughters, Michelle Martin and husband Kaare, Melissa Willson and husband John, Marie Johnson and husband Michael, and Meredith Bridschge; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters Imogene Corbell, Dorothy Adair; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to the Alsbury Baptist Church Youth Ministries, P.O. Box 1776, Burleson, TX 76097.
