Jay L. Cashion

RENDON -- Jay L. Cashion, 80, passed away Monday, July 18, 2011, at a local hospital. Service: 10am Friday, July 22, at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6-8pm Thursday, at the funeral Home. Interment: DFW National Cemetery. Jay was born April 2, 1931, in Cleburne, to the late John W. and Roberta Osborne Cashion. Jay was a former policeman for the City of Fort Worth, and a proud veteran of the the U.S. Air Foce. He was a farrier, and celebrated 36 years with the Fort Worth Stock Show, with his tenure ending in management. Survivors: His wife of 50 years, Carretta Cashion, of Rendon; daughter, Rae Huffstetter, and husband Ron, of Arlington; grandchildren, Catherine Logan, and Connor Jay Huffstetter; brother, Kenneth Cashion, and wife Bettie, of Picayune, MS; and numerous nieces and nephews, and friends.
