Jay Don Hensley, 54, of Joshua, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016, in Burleson. Memorial Service: 4PM Saturday, May 28, Bar Cross Cowboy Church, 12001 E. FM 917, Alvarado, TX 76009. Visitation: 6-8PM Friday, Mountain Valley Funeral Home, Joshua. Jay Don was born Feb. 28, 1962 in Ft. Worth to J.W. and Hazel (Jacobs) Hensley. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jerry Hensley. Although his family was most important, and dear to him; Jay Don loved Jesus, music, and people, more than anyone. In lieu of flowers please make donations in his name at any Pinnacle Bank Branch to help offset Funeral Expenses. Survivors: wife, Rita Hensley; daughters, Jamie Stevenson, and husband Cory, Lindsey Hensley, Cassie Guthrie, and husband John, Bri Anne Crooks, and husband Chris; grandchildren, Jayden, Tegan, Kylee, Falon, Cayleigh, Kynli, Brelynn, Coleson; brother, Jeff Hensley, and wife Cindy; sister, Debra Mullins, and husband Jim; sister in law, Carolyn Hensley; and many other loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
