J.D. Singleton

BURLESON -- J.D. Singleton Jr., 73, a retired PBX installer, died Saturday, July 22, 2006, in Fort Worth. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Alvarado-Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Emery J. Lilge Hospice House. J.D. was a member of the Alvarado Masonic Lodge for over 40 years and was also a Shriner for many years. He loved to fish, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandson. J.D. passed away after a long battle with cancer. Survivors: Sons, Stacy Singleton and wife, Janet of Burleson, Stan Singleton and wife, Cyndi of Cleburne; grandson, Tanner Singleton of Burleson; brother, Kenneth Singleton and wife, Judy of Houston; girlfriend, Mary Ann Woods of Burleson; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
