Jelma B. Clark Smith, 91, of Joshua, a homemaker, died Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, in Gorman. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Greenacres Memorial Park, Cleburne. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Smith was born Dec. 23, 1918, in Wilson County to Roy and Viola Caraway Clark. She married Willie Roy Smith on Feb. 7, 1940, in San Antonio. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and loved kids. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lola Mae Barber; brothers, Hugh Roy, Willard and Joe Clark; son, Billy Smith; grandchildren, Casey Smith, Sally Smith; great-grandchild, Cherish Smith; and husband, Willie Roy Smith Sr. Survivors: Sons, Johnny Smith and wife, Ina, Floyd Smith, David Smith and wife, Connie, Donald Smith and wife, Pam, Leroy Smith; daughter, Charlene Watson; daughter-in-law, Norma Smith; 31 grandkids; 60 great-grandkids; and 28 great-great-grandkids.
