Jerrell Ray Bell was born in Fort Worth on May 16, 1932 and passed away peacefully in his home in Burleson on October 15, 2021.
He graduated from Joshua High School in 1949 and Texas A&M in 1953.
He owned and operated Crowley Feed Mill from 1953-1973. With a break from 1953-1955 while living and serving in the Army in Stuttgart, Germany. From 1973-1994 he ran a successful Real Estate business. Helping as treasurer at the First United Methodist Church, coaching his daughters softball teams, travelling to Alaska, Europe and the States with his wife and family, reading history, cooking, going to the horse races and spending time with his grandchildren were just some of the things he enjoyed.
He married his life long sweetheart Mahdeen West, June 30, 1953 and lived happily with her until her passing in 2013. They are survived by their son Brian K. Bell, his wife Janice and their sons Zachary and Brodey, his daughter Jeri Lynn Bell, her daughter Raegan, daughter Lisa Bell-Bishop her husband Pete and their children Anthony, Trever, Tera, and Emily, and Lori Woods her husband Paul and their children Jacob, Tanner, Ashton and Riley.
He had a good sense of humor and was often heard saying, "Holy mackerel!" He loved his family more than anything and will be missed but live in our hearts forever!
