Jerry Culbertson Wells Jr.

Jerry Culbertson Wells, Jr. was born on February 10th, 1933 to Jerry and Mary Lee Wells. He passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 22nd, 2024 surrounded by his family.

Jerry was born in Keokee, Virginia and grew up in Lee County, Virginia. At the age of 17 he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He met Geneva Collier in 1952 and they were married in May of 1953. During his 20 years of service in the Air Force, they were stationed in many different parts of the world together. After he retired from the Air Force he worked as a Postal Worker for another 20 years. After he retired from the Postal Service, Jerry and Geneva moved back to Texas because it was one of their favorite places they were stationed during their time in the military.

Survivors wife Geneva Wells of 70 years; Granddaughter, Amber Walter (Andrew); Great Granddaughters, Sabrina Dibala-Walter and Kristen Walter; Brother, Robert Wells (Linda); Sister, Naomi White.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Flora, his brother Hubert and his daughter, Diane.

Service will be held on February 26th at 2 p.m.
