Jerry Dean Wilson

Jerry Wilson, 85, passed away early Friday morning, November 20, 2015, in Burleson, Texas. Service: 2:00 PM Monday November 23, 2015, First Baptist Church, Burleson. Visitation: 2-4 PM Sunday, Mountain Valley Funeral Home, Joshua. Interment: Green Acres Memorial Park, Cleburne. Jerry was born at home in Comanche, Texas, on March 22, 1930. He graduated from Gustine High School in May 1947. Jerry retired from General Dynamics (now Lockheed-Martin) in 1987, and Farmers Insurance Agency in 2002. He was a 60 year member and past Master of Southside Masonic Lodge #1114, and an affiliated member of Burleson Lodge #649. Jerry was also an endowed member and Golden Trowel recipient of Crowley AF & AM #1437. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cloe and Ofie Wilson; his wife Betty Wilson and grandson Justin Gallagher as well as 3 brothers. He is survived by 4 children; Roy and Pam Smith of Shady Shores; Jerry and Judy Cunniff of Joshua, Donna Wilson of Cleburne, and Jerry Wilson and Jan Barnett of Cleburne, 6 grandchildren, and a host of many friends and loved ones.
