Jewel Dean Grisso

Jewel Dean Grisso, 85, passed away Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021.

Jewel Dean was born in Burleson on December 30, 1935 to Mark and
Eula Mires. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Billy
Bob Grisso and grandson Corey Hudgins. Jewel Dean retired after 36
years from Burleson I.S.D. as the Assistant Food Service director. She
was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Burleson.

Survivors: Daughters Dedi Knox and husband Gary, Kelli Moorhead and
husband Robert and grandson, Tyler Knox and wife Lauren, all of
Burleson. Jewel Dean loved her two great grandchildren, Jackson and
Malone Knox. Sister, Carolyn Caddell and husband Carroll of Krum, Tx,
and Sister-in-law, Janan Benson of Garland, Tx. Special extended family,
Micheal Grisso, Leigh Mires and multiple other nieces and nephews.
