BURLESON -- Jimmie Dean Seale, 69, of Burleson, a retired Baptist preacher, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at The Church At Burleson. Interment: Skyvue Memorial Gardens in Mansfield. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Jimmie was born Jan. 3, 1940, in Roscoe to the late Von Dean and Jimmye Ann Hicks Seale. J.D., as he was known to many, grew up in Roscoe and spent his school years in Sweetwater. He married his high school sweetheart, Doris Hatfield, on June 20, 1959. In May of 1970 God led him to start Burleson Baptist Temple, which is now The Church At Burleson. He also served the Lord in pastoring at Fellowship Baptist Church in Borger and served in many other ministries throughout his life. Survivors: Wife of 50 years, Doris Seale; sons, Randall of New York City and Gary and wife, Lucia, of Bedford; and daughter, Lynette Wilson and husband, James, of Burleson. PaPa was blessed with nine grandchildren, Brandon, Colby, Shannon, Candace, Geron, Hailey, Katlynn, Karissa and Bethany. He is also survived by a brother, Jeral Wayne and wife, Linda, of Kerville; and mother-in-law, Evelyn Westmoreland of Burleson.
