Jimmie Rogers Strength Sr., 79, of Burleson passed away Monday, Feb. 1, 2016, in Fort Worth. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016, in the Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Woodson Cemetery near Throckmorton. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. He was born Feb. 21, 1936, in Plum Grove, Texas, to William Arthur Strength and Sally Minshew. Jimmie was retired from Bell Helicopter after 37 years. He is survived by his wife, Sara Strength of Burleson; son, Jim Strength Jr. of Arlington; sister, Laverne Henson of Arlington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
