Jimmy Lee Sims

Jimmy Lee Sims, 54, passed away surrounded by the love of his family, Saturday, August 3, 2013. Service: 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment: Pleasant Point Cemetery in Lillian. Jimmy was born July 10, 1959 in Waxahachie to Frank and Thelma Sims. He grew up with two brothers, Frank and Dee, and two sisters, Debra and Karen. This year he celebrated his 25th wedding anniversary with his wife Cori, with whom he had two daughters, Michela and Jami. His oldest daughter, Chasity, is married to Brandon Perkins, and together they gave him two beautiful grandchildren, Dylan and Bridgette. Jimmy worked as a sheet metal technician at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control for over thirty years. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank. He is survived by his wife, Cori; his daughters, Chasity, Michela and Jami; his son-in-law, Brandon; his grandchildren, Dylan and Bridgette; his mother, Thelma; his brother, Frank and wife Brenda, his brother Dee; his sister, Debra and husband Jerry, his sister Karen; a large family of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
