Joshua- J. L. Phinney, 59, an attorney died Saturday December 31, 2005 in Fort Worth. Memorial Service : 2:00 P.M. Wednesday January 4, 2006 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. J.L. was born September 22, 1946 in Russell, Kansas to Dick R. and Jane Harris Phinney. He attended Texas Wesleyan University and graduated from Baylor Law School and was a longtime member of the Kiwanis Club of Burleson. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Meals on Wheels in Tarrant or Johnson Counties. Survivors: Wife, Pamela Phinney of Joshua; father, Dick R. Phinney of Lewisville; aunt, Joy Jillson of Russell, Kansas; step-children, James Henderson and wife Courtney of Hurst, Kelly Baldwin and husband David of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; 3 step grandchildren, Daniel, KaLyn and Taylor Baldwin.
