BURLESON -- Jo Brymer, 67 a homemaker of Burleson, died Friday Nov. 16, 2007 in Fort Worth. Graveside Service: 1:00 p.m., Tuesday at the Dallas- Fort Worth National Cemetery, Grand Prairie. Celebration of Life: 3:00 p.m at Southwest Christian Church in Fort Worth. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Monday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Burleson. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of choice in honor of Jo Brymer. Gertha Jo Sterling Brymer was born Jan. 25, 1940 to Roy and Doris Barron Sterling. She married Eugene "Gene" Robert Brymer on May 19, 1961 in Fort Worth. Jo was an active member of Brazos Christian Church in Burleson, where she taught two and three year olds. She was a former member of Southwest Christian Church in Fort Worth and enjoyed making hand crafted cards for family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother; and a brother, Lynn Sterling. Survivors: Husband, Gene Brymer of Burleson; son, Robert Brymer and wife, Cortney of Chattanooga, TN.; daughters, Kay Young and husband, Milton of Burleson, Debra Burnett and husband, Judd of Fort Worth; father, Roy Sterling and wife, Rita of Benbrook; sister, Dolores Tweddale of Austin; grandchildren, Katelyn and Ashley Young, Jessica and Blake Burnett; two nephews and a niece.
