Jo Ann Murphy

Jo Ann Murphy, 69, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013, in Crowley. Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Ann Catholic Church of Burleson. Rosary: 7 p.m. Wednesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home.Jo Ann was born Aug. 31, 1943, in San Antonio to D.P. and Eula Viola Brien Slatter. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend. Jo Ann loved gardening, golf and renovating homes. She loved to travel, especially cruises. Survivors: Husband, Jim Cronkhite of Burleson; sons, Ed Murphy of Pennsylvania, Gary Murphy of Arlington and Lance Murphy of Brighton, Colo.; cousins, Dwaine Culp and Betty Beard; and extended family and friends.
