Joe Geis, 62, of Joshua passed away Friday, April 24, 2015. Memorial service: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Reese Prairie Baptist Church, Burleson. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Joe was born Dec. 26, 1952, in Okarche, Okla., to Joseph Walter and Shirley Holdaway Geis. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Geis. Survivors: Father, Joe W. Geis; wife, Tina Johnson Geis; sons, John Geis, and wife, Stephanie, and Joseph Geis and wife, Christy; grandchildren, Jordan, Lauren, John, Ashleigh, Braden and Jayce; sister, Deanna Dunn and husband, Sam; and many other loving extended family and friends.
