BURLESON -- Joel Lee Jones, 66, a retired Supervisor for Texas Steel, died Tuesday, December 20, 2005 in Fort Worth. Funeral: 11:00 A.M. Thursday December 22, 2005 Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Prairie Springs Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Jones was born January 21, 1939 in Fort Worth to Joe and Frances Neal Jones. He married Linda Wicker in October of 1958 and she preceded him in death in Aug of 1998. He later married Judy Barton Polson in September of 1999. Joel was an avid golfer, loved hunting, and going to the lake and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Survivors: Wife, Judy Jones of Burleson; sons, Mark Jones and wife Tricia of Joshua, Mike Jones and wife Karen of Joshua; daughter, Melody Smith and husband Tony of Joshua; 7 grandchildren; sister, Linda Houts and husband Steve of Cypress; cousin, Kay Davis and husband Paul of Fort Worth.
