BURLESON -- John Harve Brothers, 55, of Burleson, a retired department manager, died Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at his home in Burleson. Memorial service: 6 p.m. Friday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Memorials: Johnson County Child Advocacy Center, 910 Granbury St., Cleburne, Texas 76033, in lieu of flowers. John was born May 3, 1956, in Monahans to James Earl and Katherine Adams Brothers. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. John was an avid golfer and he loved watching sports on TV. A special heartfelt thanks to all the help that was received from Vitas Hospice. John was preceded in death by his father. Survivors: Wife, Esther Brothers of Burleson; daughters, Amber Brothers and Courtney Brothers; mother, Katherine Brothers of Kingwood; brothers, Jim Brothers and wife, Patty, of Arlington and Joe Brothers and wife, Vangie, of Flower Mound; sister, Julie Rice and husband, Buddy, of Kingwood; and numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
