John J. Mitchell

JOSHUA -- John J. Mitchell, 82, a retired business owner, of Joshua, passed away with family at his bedside Friday July 3, 2009 at his residence. Service: 10:00 am Monday July 6, 2009 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: 2:00 pm at Pilot Point Cemetery in Pilot Point. Visitation: 6-8 pm Sunday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. John was born Feb. 17, 1927 in Dallas to John Wylie and Ethel Hammonds Mitchell. John was a loving husband, father and grandfather. John has been a resident and a business owner in Joshua since 1984. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends he made through the years. His memory may be honored with a gift to Living Waters Church, P.O.
