John William Rollen - BURLESON. John “Big John” Rollen passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020 at his home in Burleson, TX. SERVICES: A private service will be held in his honor. A memorial service will be held at a later date due to the state and local restrictions. John was born and raised in Grandview, Texas on October 28, 1952. He graduated from Grandview High School, class of ‘70. He was a proud retired member of the Cleburne Fire Department where he had 34 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter who enjoyed spending time at his deer lease and always looked forward to his weekly dinners to watch local live country music with his friends. John is survived by his wife Wanda Rollen of 46 years; two sons and daughter in-laws: Wes and Angela Rollen of Cleburne and Ryan and Brittani Rollen of Burleson; three grandchildren: Jake Rollen, Blair Rollen, and Lucas Rollen, along with countless friends and extended family members. Honorary Pallbearers: Steve Simms, Jimmy Swinford, Craig Tidwell, Eddie Norton, Carry Christian, Neal Flippin, Brian Graham, Ricky Yates, Roger Trussell, and Jimmy Richardson.
