BURLESON -- Johnie E. Hotchkiss, 97, a retired salesman in the trucking industry, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2005, in Fort Worth. Memorial service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Heritage Place Chapel (formerly Huguley Place). Burial: 2 p.m. Tuesday in Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery in Fort Worth. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Emery J. Lilge Hospice House or a charity of choice. Mr. Hotchkiss was born Dec. 9, 1907, in Sabathany. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a Mason and member of Handley Masonic Lodge, enjoyed golf, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Burleson. He married Francine Spencer Jan. 4, 1991, in Fort Worth. Survivors: Wife, Francine Hotchkiss of Burleson; nephews, B.J. Tuttleton and wife, Gayle of Everman, Donald Tuttleton and wife, Tommie of Denham Springs, La.; niece, Ann Womack of Fort Worth; and many great-nieces and -nephews.
