Jordan Lee Sigmon

July 29, 1994 — May 7, 2022

Jordan Lee Sigmon, beloved son, brother, and uncle, was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on July 29, 1994, to Guy and Angela (Asbury) Sigmon. He was welcomed into Glory by his Heavenly Father and loving family late Saturday evening May 7, 2022.

Jordan grew up in the Burleson/Joshua area enjoying family, friends, youth group, vaulting, and FFA. He was a caring, giving individual with a big heart which led him to attend UT Health after graduating from Joshua High School in 2012. Uponreceiving his Bachelors of Nursing degree, he immediately began his career at Methodist Hospital in Houston in the critical care ICU unit where he worked diligently alongside his coworkers in the days leading up to and through the Covid pandemic. Nursing provided Jordan with the opportunity to help others and to have a schedule that allowed him to do some of the hobbies he enjoyed such as bike riding, yoga, hiking, and traveling with friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his Grandfather William E. Asbury of Burleson, Texas.

Those left to treasure his memory include his grandparents, Manuel and Faye Sigmon of San Antonio; grandmother, Irene Asbury of Burleson, Texas; parents, Guy and Angela Sigmon of Burleson, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Eric and Lauren Sigmon of Schertz, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Joshua and Hannah Sigmon of Weatherford, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Bailey Sigmon of Godley, Texas; nieces, McKenzie and Reagan Sigmon; and nephew, Rhett Sigmon.

Jordan, one of our greatest joys was just to be in your presence, talking and spending time with you. You could talk to anyone and make them feel welcome. What a wonderful gift you had. You are and will always be…greatly missed! We love you more than words can say.
