BURLESON -- Joseph Dan Scott, 28, a quality control inspector in the aviation industry, died Monday, April 2, 2007, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel, Burleson. Burial: Burleson Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth. Joseph was born Dec. 3, 1978, in Wichita, Kan., to Charles Larry and Deidre Sheila Womack Scott. He married Kelly Thayer on Nov. 13, 1998, in Wichita. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors, and woodworking. Joseph loved his family dearly and loved spending time with his girls. Survivors: Wife, Kelly Scott of Burleson; daughters, Sierra and Samantha Scott of Burleson; parents, Charles and Diedre Scott of Wichita, Kan.; sister, Antoinea Noble and husband, John, of Germany; grandmother, Shirley Fitzgerald of Springfield, Mo.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
