Juanita (Bonnett) Harrison

November 1, 1933 — June 16, 2023

Juanita (Nita) Bonnett Harrison, 89, of Burleson passed away June 16, 2023. Nita was born November 1, 1933 in Leander, Texas to Felix and Leota Bonnett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Harrison, her brother Charles Ross Bonnett of Sugar Land, Texas and her sister, Oleta Gideon of Georgetown, Texas.

She is survived by her three sons:
Cliff Harrison and his wife Heather of Houston and their children, John, Victoria, Makenna, & Ian
Gary Harrison and his wife Kathleen of Burleson and their children, Grace, Jack, Miranda (and husband Nick), Morgan, & Matt
Keith Harrison and his wife Sylvia of Burleson and their children, Michelle (and husband Daniel) & Amanda (and husband Tyler)
She is also survived by four great grandchildren; Cooper, Cate, Gwen, and George
...and by one sister, Mary Cox of Borger, Texas and one brother, Johnny Bonnett of Ellington, Missouri, as well as numerous nieces and nephews

Nita graduated Liberty Hill High School in 1951. Married her husband Charles in 1955 and was married for 54 years until Charles' passing in 2009. She loved her family and always enjoyed talking about her Grandkids and the rest of the family. She was an avid Texas Ranger baseball fan and enjoyed watching all the games. She had a beautiful voice and loved singing gospel music, and had wonderful memories of singing with her sisters and brothers at family reunions.
She was known as Mamaw since her first grandchild and was a beloved Wife, Sister, Mother, & Grandmother.

A graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Thursday July 6, 2023 at the Liberty Hill Cemetery, with interment to follow. The cemetery address is:

Liberty Hill, Texas 78642
