Judy Gazaway went to be with the Lord on Tuesday Nov. 20, 2018 at the age of 79, in Burleson, TX after being involved in a tragic motor vehicle accident.
Celebration of Life 11:00 AM Friday, November 23, 2018, Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Joshua, TX.
Judy was born on October 17, 1939 in Fort Worth, TX to Elmo and Allene O'Brien.
She will be remembered by friends and family for always having a smile on her face and enjoying the simple things in life.
Judy had the biggest heart and found joy in helping others. She also enjoyed rescuing animals and providing a loving and caring home. Judy loved being "Geemaw" to her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom spent countless summers at her home being spoiled and loved endlessly.
She met Bob Gazaway in 1978 via CB radio under their call names of Crowley Rose and Cracker Jack. They married April 21, 1982. Bob passed away in 2005 and she found peace in knowing she would be reunited with him again in heaven.
Survivors: Sons, Ronnie and David Shoecraft; Daughters, Laurie Roten and Vicki Lucas; Children's Father, Leroy Shoecraft; Sisters, Donna Straessle and Dee Dee O'Brien; Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; Inumerable close friends and family members; 8 dogs and 5 cats.
