Judy Lyndell Standley

Judy L. Standley, 72, of Joshua passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2021 surrounded by family. She was born December 5, 1948 to Leora and Ted Wagenfuehr in San Antonio, TX.  She married W. Don Standley on August 31, 1974; Judy and Don moved to Joshua in November, 1975.

She was retired from Joshua ISD as an educator and had previously worked as a legal secretary and secretary.   Their marriage was blessed with two children:  Travis and Shelby and the most precious gift of a grandson- August. Judy was a loving wife, mother, “MeMaw” and sister. She was an active member of Lane Prairie Baptist Church, a believer in Jesus Christ and has now passed from this life through the doorway of death into the very presence of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband W. Don Standley; son, Travis Standley and wife, Angela; daughter, Shelby Shumate and husband Chris; grandson, August; sister, Beverly Kasprowicz
