Judy Karen Collins Vavrin

BURLESON -- Judy Karen Collins Vavrin, 53, a retail owner, of Burleson, died Monday February 16, 2009 in Burleson. Memorial Service: 3:00 pm Saturday March 7, 2009 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Judy was born Sept. 30, 1955 in Cleburne to J.M. Jr. and Mary Dell Lea Collins. Judy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Judy married John Vavrin on June 15, 1973 in Burleson. She graduated from Joshua High School in 1974. They had a son, Randy who was born on July 8, 1974. Judy had many great friends across the country and many winter texans across the valley. She spent alot of her winter at her home in Donna, Tx. Judy was an avid collector of Angels and Owls. She loved traveling and shopping at the flea market. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandson Joshua, who was her pride and joy. Survivors: Husband, John Vavrin of Burleson; son, Randy Vavrin and wife Patty of Arlington; parents; grandson, Joshua Vavrin; 3 sisters, Sharon Hawkins of Joshua, Gay Morris of Burleson, Kathy McGlothlin of Cleburne; nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.
