Julianne Gafford

Julianne Gafford was born in Corsicana, Texas on February 2nd, 1954, and passed away on December 16th 2021.  She was a 1972 graduate of Burleson High School and a 1976 graduate of Texas Tech University.  She retired from the Burleson Independent School District where she served as a Kindergarten teacher for the greater part of her career at Norwood Elementary.  Juli truly made a difference on countless children throughout her time as a teacher.  Juli’s passions were her family and friends, gardening, and most of all, her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Dwain Gafford, brother Kevin Jenkins, daughters Brooke White and Gina Birdsong, nephews Matt Jenkins and Josh Jenkins, grandchildren Will Birdsong, Brittany Birdsong, Garrett White, and Kaitlyn White, as well as sister-in-law Sheila Jenkins, and sons-in-law Jim Birdsong and Don White as well as countless other loving family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents C.D. and Betty Jenkins.

Juli will truly be missed by many and will forever live on in our hearts.
