Julie Ann (Zimmerman) Leeper

Julie Ann Leeper, 78, of Burleson, passed away December 10, 2021. Service: 2PM Wednesday, December 15, First Baptist Church of Burleson. Visitation: 6PM-8PM Tuesday, December 14, Mountain Valley Funeral Home.

Julie was born December 14, 1942, in Omaha, NE, to John and Jane (Shaw) Zimmerman. She was preceded in death by her parents; and twin sister Judy Ermey.

Julie Married James Leeper, whom she met at church, June 9, 1968, in El Dorado, KS. She attended Wichita High School and went on to Wichita State. Julie was a string instrument teacher, and an accomplished violinist, she was a church choir member, and loved to travel.

Survivors: son, David Leeper and wife Elizabeth; grandson, Jonathan and wife Kaitlyn; granddaughter Megan; brother John, and wife Jolene, other extended family and loving friends.
