June Macey (Lewis) Green

June Lewis Green was born July 7, 1934 and passed away peacefully on July 2, 2022. June grew up on the Lewis farm with her sister Doris Couch. She attended Bethesda and Burleson High Schools, where she played basketball, then went on to meet her husband Leasel Green. They later married on July 31, 1954, they had 2 sons, Tim Green and Randy Green. She became a hair stylist then June decided to serve in the ministry for the remaining days of her life. She was so faithful to her Lord and Savior and loved ministering to people in need of a closer relationship and walk with Jesus. June served in the office of Deaconess, Counselor, Head of deliverance dept, operated in the gifts of a prophetess and taught Adult Sunday School at Steppingstone Family Church, which later became Light House Church of Burleson. She loved and cared for people of all ages and never hesitated to minister to anyone in need. June Green has sewn seeds into countless lives and made eternal difference for so many people. June and Leasel then went on to found New Life Christian Fellowship of Burleson, which she had for the rest of her days. June was proceeded in death by her parents Grant and Stella Lewis, son Tim Green and sister Doris Couch. She is survived by her Husband Leasel Green, Son Randy Green and wife Linda, step granddaughter Heather, niece Maureen Couch Steban, nephew Craig Couch, sister-in-law Patsy Borden, numerous cousins and family members. In which she loved with all her heart.
