Karen Elaine Charles

Karen Johnson Charles was born in Fort Worth, Texas on August 12th, 1962, to Wilbur (Tex) and Carolyn Johnson. She passed away, Friday evening October 6th, 2023, surrounded by her family.
Karen grew up in Burleson, Texas. She briefly lived in Memphis, Tennessee for 5 years. She graduated from Burleson High School in 1980. Karen worked for the Johnson County Sheriff's office as an Office Manager for the last 3 years. Karen loved riding and showing horses. She was an artist, painting was her passion, especially horses.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Burleson.
Karen was preceded in death by her father Wilbur (Tex) Johnson, and her brother Glenn Erik Johnson.
She is survived by her mother Carolyn M Johnson, Aunt Sandra Dugan, and numerous cousins, and host of friends.
