JOSHUA -- Kathleen Robinson Burns, 76, a homemaker of Joshua, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2008, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: 2 p.m. in Evergreen Cemetery in Lipan. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Kathleen Burns was born Oct. 31, 1931, in Snyder to Art and Claudie Woellert Robinson. She married Charles Burns on Jan. 15, 1946, in Granbury. She liked traveling, genealogy, sewing, and she loved her grandkids. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, one son-in-law and one grandson. Survivors: Husband of 62 years, Charles Burns of Joshua; sons, Martin Lee Burns of Joshua, Jimmy Charles Burns and wife, Betty, of Denton; daughters, Peggy Nell McCarley and husband, Dwight, of Joshua, Patty Kay DeAnda of Irving; brother, Bill Robinson and wife, Edith, of Brock; Phyllis Wright and husband, Tommy, of Weatherford; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
