Kay Bradshaw Bowman passed away peacefully at home on September 17, 2022.
Kay was born October 17, 1941 in Fort Worth, TX.
Her family moved to Godley TX when she was 9 years old. She graduated from Godley High School in 1959. She was a member of the Godley Church of Christ.
Kay married John Bowman February 16, 1963. After a short time in Fort Worth they moved back to Joshua in 1972.
She went to work for the Joshua school district in 1974 and retired after 30 years of service.
Kay was cheerful and friendly and she had a beautiful smile for everyone she met. She was a fabulous cook, homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an avid reader and read many, many books in her lifetime.
She was survived by her husband John Bowman, her daughters, Suzanne Walling, son-in-law Eric Walling, Shelley Scott, son-in-law Joe Scott. Granddaughters; Erin Walling her fiancé Mike Nowakowski and Katey Walling, Grandsons; Kason Paynter and his wife Katey, Ayden Broadwater, Nathan Walling, and Trey Scott. As well as numerous other beloved family members and dear friends.
Her memory will be cherished by all that knew her.
