BURLESON -- Kenneth Lee "Punk" Collins, 78, a retired president and business owner of Conveyor Inc. in Mansfield died Sunday March 4, 2012 in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2 pm Thurs. at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Union Hill Cemetery in Joshua. Visitation: 6-8 pm Wed. at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Punk was born Sept. 22, 1933 in Johnson Co. Texas to James Martin and Aggie Miller Collins. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Punk was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved working, his race horses, cattle and hunting. He also loved to invent things. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister. Survivors: Wife, Nancy Collins of Burleson; sons, Kenneth Ollen Collins of Burleson, Billy Vaughn Cheek and wife Carol of Burleson, Danny Ray Cheek of Cedar Hill; daughters, Beverly Jean Nelon and husband C.T. of Burleson, Sandra Denise Cormier and husband Chris of Burleson, Robin Anita Wolff of Alvarado, Belinda Marie Smith and husband David of Burleson; brother, James Martin Collins Jr. of Joshua. 21 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews extended family and friends.
