Kim Ranae Booher

December 20, 1957 — October 25, 2023

Kim Renee (Bradshaw) Booher was born in Fort Worth, Texas on December 20, 1957, to Glenna and Wayne Bradshaw. She went to be with her Lord Jesus peacefully with her husband, daughter and son by her side on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, after a long courageous battle with auto-immune diseases.

Kim was a longtime resident of Joshua, Texas after her father, Wayne, opened up B&W grocery store in October of 1974. She graduated from Joshua High School in 1977. Kim met her loving husband of almost 44 years, Rusty Booher, in late 1978 and married on November 24, 1979. Rusty and Kim moved back to Joshua after the birth of their oldest child, Tegan, in 1983 and still reside there today. The couple welcomed their second child, Evan, in 1986.

Kim was a dedicated homemaker and stay-at-home mother. She enjoyed volunteering at church and teaching Sunday school. Kim had a generous spirit and was always looking for opportunities to help. Whether it was donating to Harvest House or sponsoring children during the holidays through the Angel Tree program at various schools, Kim was passionate about taking care of children in need. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and grandchildren. She loved to read to her grandchildren and eventually read with them as they grew. She was the center of the family. Kim was greatly loved and cherished by her husband, children, their spouses, and grandchildren. She was their "Nana" and she excelled at the role. She loved her Lord Jesus and was faithful to spend time with Him every day almost right up until she went into His presence... HALLELUJAH!

Kim and Rusty have loved one another since their first date. They have spent their time together enjoying each other's company each day since. They had just gotten good at vacationing together when her illnesses began preventing those getaways.

Kim was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Bradshaw, and brother Larry Bradshaw.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Rusty Booher; their daughter Tegan Needham and husband Ben of Burleson and son Evan Booher and wife Samantha of Burleson. Also by her grandchildren; Scarlet Needham, Owen Morgan, Blair Needham, Eve Needham and Riggs Booher. Her mother, Glenna Bradshaw of Keene. Brother Jimmy Bradsaw and wife Denise of Joshua.

The celebration of life will be held at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Joshua, Texas on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 1:00pm. The visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Graveside service will be immediately following the celebration of life at Caddo cemetery; 6700 FM 1902, Joshua, TX 76058.

In lieu of flowers, if you prefer, the family asks that you donate to the Harvest House of Burleson or adopt an angel from the Angel Tree program this holiday season, these were Kim's favorite charities.
