Lajuana Ruth Lightsey

Lajuana Ruth Lightsey, 64, of Cleburne, a retired truck driver, died Wednesday March 31, 2010 in Crowley. Memorial Service: 3:00 P.M. Friday at the Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Ruth was born July 5, 1945 in Cleburne to Archie and Claudia Howell Lightsey. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all. Ruth loved waitressing, truck driving, traveling and seeing the country. She also enjoyed lunches with her sisters, going to the casino occasionally and camping. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, 6 sisters. Survivors: Sons, Lynn Hamilton of Burleson, Joey Shepard and wife Charity of Cleburne; daughter, Connie Bledsue and husband Toby of Cleburne; grandchildren, Taylor Bledsue, Alayna Shepard; sister, Maydell Bukowski and husband Joe of Burleson.
