Landon Gene Logan, 84, of Burleson passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015. He was born Nov. 16, 1930, in Thornton, Texas, to Thomas Landon Logan and Ruby Nichols. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2015, at DFW National Cemetery. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Landon proudly served his country as a Lt. Col. in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from the Texas Dept. of Transportation after 37 yrs. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Glenda Logan of Burleson; children, Gina Hernandez of White Settlement, Denny Roberts and wife, Peggy, of North Richland Hills, Debrah Hendrick of Fort Worth and Mark Roberts and wife, Candy, of Granbury; grandchildren, Jordan Crawley and husband, Daniel, of Fort Worth and their twin sons, Beau and Deacon, eight other grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rita Holton of Waco and Mary Staley of Marlin; and brother, Frank Logan of Mexia.
