Larry Ray Morgan, 73, of Burleson, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 in Ft. Worth. Graveside service will be Thursday, June 28, at 10:30 am at Godley Cemetery Pavilion. Interment to follow. Honorary pallbearers: Gene Prine, John Long and GHS Class of 1962 Larry was born January 26, 1945 in Cleburne, TX to J. C. "Jake" and Maureen (Jones) Morgan. He graduated from Godley High School in 1962. Larry had a lifelong passion for cars, especially the fast ones. He owned and operated Larry Morgan Used Cars for many years in addition to working for several dealerships in the DFW area. He is survived by one daughter, Chanda L. Hofmann and husband, Wolfgang; number one grandson, Jacob Kelly; one son, Bobby Teague; one brother, Jerry Morgan and wife, Patricia; sisters, Karen (Morgan) Daniel and husband, Tommy, Debbie Dawn Morgan, Brenda (Morgan) Lewis and husband, John; three step brothers and one step sister; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including his classmates of the GHS Class of 1962. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals on Wheels of Johnson County or the charity of your choice.
