Larry R. Seaton

JOSHUA -- Larry R. Seaton, 62, of Joshua, a retired truck driver for F.W. Transportation in Burleson, died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010, in Joshua. Memorial service: 4 p.m. Thursday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Larry was born Sept. 11, 1947, in Rotan to Charlie and Wilma Frost Seaton. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Larry married Jan Butler on June 24, 1987, in Sweetwater. Larry was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved his family very much. He was a member of VFW Post 6872 of Crowley, which he served. Survivors: Wife, Jan Seaton of Joshua; daughter, Trina Seaton-Moore of Snyder; sons, Larry Cagle Jr. and wife, Michelle, of Tyler and Scott Cagle and wife, Tammy, of Sweetwater; close friend who was like a son, Kirby Lane of Joshua; mother, Wilma Dill of Dublin; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Sherry Hicks and husband, George, of Holly; one niece; and two nephews.
