Lauretta Bernice Ramsey, 85, passed away September 1, 2012, in Keene. Service: 9:00 AM, Wednesday, Graveside. Interment: Keene Cemetery in Keene. Lauretta B. (Allgood) Ramsey was born on January 25, 1927 in Mangum, OK to Lena Priscilla Head and Dallas Allgood. Lauretta married in 1951 and had three sons, Dallas Lewis Ramsey, William Randall (Randy) Ramsey and Joe Edmund Ramsey. Lauretta settled down in Keene, TX and took care of her parents in their later years. She worked as a med-aid for several years and later in life worked as an in-home care giver to elderly patients. Lauretta was a member of the Cleburne First Seventh-day Adventist Church and was honored to be a Seventh-day Adventist. She was not influenced by compromise in her beliefs, read her Bible every morning and loved Jesus and looked forward to meeting Him in the clouds of glory at His Second Coming. She leaves behind a legacy of love and a desire for everyone to be in heaven. Lauretta was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert Lee Allgood, Sr. and JB Allgood; son Joe Edmund Ramsey and two grandsons Randy Dale Ramsey and Jonathan Dallas Ramsey. Lauretta leaves behind sons Dallas Ramsey and wife Emily of Pine Hill, AL; Randy Ramsey of Cleburne, TX; Sisters Bea Wallace of Keene, TX; Imogene Lothian and husband Jim of Cleveland, TN; Anna Jo Clithero and husband Bill of Albuquerque, NM; 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandson; Milo the dog and numerous other family and dear friends who will miss her greatly. Sleep well Mom, Grandma, and Auntie. We will see you when Jesus comes again!
