Lawrence "Buddy" Triplett

BURLESON -- Lawrence Earl "Buddy" Triplett, 83, passed away Wednesday Sept. 17, 2008 in Burleson. Funeral Service: 10:00 am Monday Sept. 22, 2008 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park in Kennedale. Visitation: 2-4 pm Sunday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Buddy was born Jan. 25, 1925 in Venus to Zachary V. and Julia Mae Prater Triplett. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Buddy retired from Bell Helicopter after 33 years of service. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend to all. Buddy loved hunting, fishing, woodworking and building houses. Buddy was very loving and generous in life and even in death. He was a lifelong member of the Burleson Church of Christ. Buddy was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Ellen Triplett; parents; sisters, Leona Davis and Ruth Lambert; brother, Charles Hurst and a daughter, Mary Ellen Doty. Survivors: Son, Larry Triplett and wife Janet of Burleson; 5 grandsons; 2 granddaughters; 13 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
