Lee Roy Purselley Sr., 85, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014, at a Fort Worth hospital. Service: 10 a.m. Monday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Lee Roy was born Jan. 24, 1929, in Granbury to Lee Ross and Florence Hensley Purselley. He was the president of Putoma and Pro-Mac Corporation for 21 years. Lee Roy was a private pilot that loved to fly. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and raising bird dogs. Lee Roy was a Mason, loved being outdoors and gardening. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Barton, and brother, Melvin Purselley. Survivors: His wife, Jeannie Purselley; daughters, Cheryl Boyette and husband, John, of Nacogdoches, Karen Jennings and husband, Jay, of Springtown, Paula Clark and husband, Ernest, of Blum; sons, Lee Roy "Butch" Purselley Jr. and Sherry of Fort Worth, Danny Cannedy and wife, Lynn, of Joshua; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; Biscuit, his loving companion; extended family and friends.
