Leland Monroe Brill, 78, of Burleson, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 8th, due to an ongoing heart condition.
Lee, born March 15, 1944, grew up in Holdenville, Oklahoma and graduated from Holdenville High School in 1962.
He was in the Army Reserves from 1964-1965 and moved to Texas in 1966. He worked for American Hospital Supply, Borden Dairy Company and eventually retired after 30 plus years of service with Lone Star Steel in Lone Star, Texas.
He was reunited with his high school sweetheart, Shirley Musgrove, in 2005 and they married shortly after. His hobbies included photography, woodworking and playing Jeopardy.
Lee was predeceased by his father, Ed Brill in 1981 and his mother, Geneva Susan Bowen Brill in 1968.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Brill, daughter Michelle Brill Merrill and husband Ervin Merrill. Son, Mark Brill and wife Belinda Brill. Daughter Leslie Bowen. Sister, Nancy Brill Harris and husband John Harris. Five grandchildren and two great grandchildren along with many friends.
He was a wonderful and caring man who was loved by many and will forever be in our hearts.
