Leland Edwin Owens

Leland Edwin Owens, 83, of Orlando, Calif., passed away Thursday, March 10, 2011. Memorial services: 11 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Burleson Church of Christ. Leland Owens was born May 13, 1927, in Littlefield, to William James Mabry and Flossie B. Owens. He was preceded in death by his wife, Verna Mae Owens; parents; and two sisters. Survivors: sons, Gary Owens and wife, Karen, Larry Owens and wife, Ginger, and Melvin Owens and wife, Tammie; sisters, Reta Miller and Kitty Bare; grandchildren, Landon Owens and wife, Julie, Justin Owens and wife, Lexie, Leah Beckwith and husband, Jeremy, Britney Owens, Josh Owens, Caleb Owens and wife, Sharon, Dana Stucky and husband, D.J., and Clint Owens; seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
